Privacy Policy

When you use Rytena, we collect:

• Account information (email address, name) when you sign up
• Memory metrics from your Node.js processes (heap usage, RSS, garbage collection)
• Process metadata (hostname, PID, runtime version)
• Code snippets around detected memory leak locations (up to 10 lines)
• Basic usage analytics of the Rytena dashboard

• Your full source code
• HTTP request or response bodies
• Database queries or values
• User data flowing through your application
• Environment variables (unless explicitly reported)

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve Rytena's services. This includes detecting memory leaks in your applications, generating AI-powered analysis, sending alerts, and displaying data in your dashboard.

Code snippets from detected memory leaks are sent to third-party language model providers (currently OpenRouter with Meta Llama models) for root cause analysis. These snippets are limited to approximately 10 lines around the leak location.

Memory metrics are retained for 7 days by default. Leak records and AI analysis are retained indefinitely unless you delete them. You can delete your account at any time, which permanently removes all your data.

We do not sell your data. We only share data with third-party service providers necessary to operate Rytena — hosting (Vercel, Railway), database (Supabase), and AI analysis (OpenRouter).

API keys are hashed using bcrypt before storage. All communication between the Rytena agent and our backend uses HTTPS. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any data we hold about you. Contact us at privacy@rytena.dev for any privacy-related requests.
